Energy Independence and Our Economic Future
Dear Friends,
President Obama’s environmental restrictions placed on the TransCanada Keystone XL are a serious concern for the grave implications they present to our economic future. The obstruction of the Keystone pipeline project is part of President Obama’s Socialist plan of increased governmental control. This is an issue which we must confront—given the economic opportunities and job creation that the Keystone pipeline could bring to the United States, including Gulf Coast refineries. In addition, we must demand more discussion regarding unconventional upstream oil and natural gas development activity in the lower 48 states.
Americans are hurting for jobs—including our brave men and women in the Armed Forces, after completing their courageous service to our nation. We must demand that our energy resources be unleashed, as a source of job creation within our reach. We owe this to ourselves and to posterity.
